Should I cut the retakes out first?

No. Send it raw. Finding the retakes and pauses is Studio's job.

What does one minute cover?

One minute of the recording you upload. Changes and clips made from it cost nothing more.

How long does an edit take?

It depends on the length. The video page shows each step and the time left, worked out from real past edits. You can close the tab while it works.

What if I don't like the edit?

Tell it what to change in the video's chat. Each change is a new version, and the earlier one is kept.

Who can see my video?

Only you. It is used to make your edit and kept for as long as your plan says, from 7 days to a year. Download what you want to keep.

Can I try a smaller job first?

Yes. The free tools trim a clip, convert captions or clean up audio without an account.
