Changes and versions

Ask for changes in plain words, keep every version and make clips.

  • Guide 2 of 4
  • 4 steps
  • About a minute to read
  1. Ask in plain words

After the video finishes, open its chat and describe a change. Try “no captions”, “fewer cards” or “faster pace”. Studio explains what it understood or what it cannot change.

Find itYour video › Ask for a change
  2. Review the next version

An accepted editing change can create a new version. Earlier versions remain in the Versions list. Each version uses the same conversation.

    Find itYour video › Versions
  3. Set a standing preference

Preferences sets how every edit looks by default. Pick a project there to give it its own settings. What you choose at upload wins over both.

    Find itSettings › Preferences
  4. Make shorts

A speech-led recording longer than 45 seconds can be used to make shorts. Open the finished video and choose how many. Each short appears as its own video.
